The role involves:

Promoting excellence in Early years practice with the EYFS

safeguarding children at all times

Team collaboration

supporting other team members

parent partnership work

professional development

Plan and provide safe, appropriate, child-led and adult led initiated experiences inside and outside the nursery

Essential skills and qualification:

Must be enthusiastic for outdoor learning

caring nature for young babies

understanding of the EYFS

Detailed understanding of safeguarding of young children within a nursery setting

Reliable and hard working

Have excellent communication skills

Ability to work skilfully and effectively with others

Taking a role of a leader when needed

Engage in professional development of self that would benefit the nursery

Model excellent practice

Qualifications

A relevant childcare qualification to level 3 standard

English c or above

Enhanced DBS and Two satisfactory references prior to employment
