Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Salary: £25,376 per annum
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent (40 hrs) but willing to consider less hours/ part time for the right candidate

Play Away Day Nursery West End has the opportunity for a Level 3 Qualified staff member to join their team on their journey to delivering the highest quality childcare to its children and families.
About us:
Our Nursery consists of three detached buildings; each carefully adapted to suit the developmental stages of the children within them. The rooms are spacious with large feature windows, flooding the rooms in natural light. The nursery buildings are set within a half-acre site with each room having their own garden space, Vegetable patch, playground equipment, dens and hidey holes, and back onto 40 acres of Hatch Grange Nature Reserve. The children are taken on trips to the local community such as the park and the library which enables the children to develop a sense of belonging to our local community.

Nursery Practitioner main duties and responsibilities*:
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery and promote these daily in every routine.
- Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
- Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent.
- Attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures.
