Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person who is passionate about Early Years to join our 'home from home' setting. Good communication skills with children, parents and colleagues is essential.
You would work as part of a highly dedicated team in providing a stimulating, fun and safe environment for all children. The Nursery Practitioner will support the supervisors to enhance our wonderful setting and have expertise in our Baby Room (0-2 years).
We provide a high standard of care, learning and play in line with the EYFS. We are open all year (not school hours/times). The position would be full-time over a 4-day working week (minimum of 35 hours) based at our Braunton setting.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a relevant Level 2/3 childcare qualification. If Level 2, then a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Be passionate about working with children
- Hold a good understanding of the EYFS, SEND and Safeguarding
- Be passionate about extending their CPD.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with team members to enhance nursery operations and ensure high-quality childcare.

Open 50 weeks per year, we take children from birth to 5 years of age, with a dedicated baby room which is safe and secure. Children are allocated a key worker who will help them settle and develop the skills they need as they grow.
