Job Requirements / Description
We are a home away from home day care nursery with great indoor and outdoor facilities for children 1-5 years old. We are looking for an excellent, well trained, enthusiastic and friendly member of staff to deliver high quality childcare and education in partnership with parents. Creating a well-rounded, safe, supportive, stimulating and fun environment for children to play, explore and discover through learning and understanding.
We are looking for a kind, caring, practitioner to join the team here at Alpha Bears!
Requirements;
- Full and relevant Level 2/3 or higher in Childcare Qualification - Essential
- Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years - Essential
- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
- Fluent in written and spoke to English - Essential
- 4-5 days per week (MUST)
Job Role
- To have good communication skills with the parents.
- Be able to work in partnership with the staff in the room to create a secure, warm, stimulating and safe environment, appropriate for the needs of individual children.
- Be able to plan age appropriate activities.
- Are able to identify any gaps in the children's development.
- Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage to implement these in your daily work, planning and observations.
- Maintain the health and safety standards on the room.
- Good organisation skills.
