Nanny Bears Day Care offers a wide variety of childcare options to suit all family needs. Breakfast club, after school club, wraparound care and full day care along with our excellent out of school activities during school holidays.

We are looking for a kind, caring, enthusiastic practitioner to join our team here. The Nursery Practitioner will work in the allocated nursery rooms to provide the highest standards of care for our children ensuring that the best possible environment and resources are used for our young children to enjoy their time here at Nanny Bears.

Requirements; 

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare 
• 8 hour shift; flexible working hours if part time 
• No weekends

Main Responsibilities:

• To work to our ethos for Under Fives and to create a welcoming and family friendly environment to enhance and develop the child’s learning.
• To deliver excellence care and support for all children.
• To be a member of the nursery team and to contribute to the planning, monitoring, evaluation of the child’s journey with Nanny Bears.
• To be responsible at all times for high standards of care and education of children between 0 to 12 years in accordance with statutory requirements.
• To ensure the EYFS is promoted and delivered within the rooms and the nursery policies and procedures are adhered to.
• To ensure excellent communication with all children staff and families in the nursery
• To keep the register and all documents up to date recording the child’s development and progress.
• To take part in all training offered at the nursery.
• To be part of our Ofsted inspections and ensure the quality of our childcare in line with Nursery and Ofsted requirements.
• Minimum Level 3 NVQ in Childcare
• Paediatric First Aid would be desirable
• Safeguarding Certificate would be desirable
• Food Hygiene Certificate would be desirable
