We are seeking a very special person to join us in this room-based role
37 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday or Friday Starting 8.00am - 18.00pm - 1 hour for lunch
Someone who:
Holds an early years qualification at level three or above and has demonstrable experience of working as part of a team in an early years setting for more than three years
Has excellent EYFS knowledge and is passionate about enabling children to become happy and confident learners
Through hands-on leadership and role modeling of best-practice, can inspire colleagues to deliver outstanding outcomes and will ensure their team feel nurtured, supported and motivated
Thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment, champions partnership working and is supportive and sensitive to the needs of others
Duties:
Acting as Early Years Educator, assisting the Room Leads, Deputy and Directors in managing the day to day running of the Nursery.
Overseeing the daily operations of a nursery setting and baby room and ensuring smooth functioning of the setting
Providing age-appropriate activities and play experience for all the children in the setting.
Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in line with the nursery's policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 2 years childcare practical experience
Level 3 or above
Capability to work independently and efficiently manage own workload ?
Reflective and creative problem-solving skills
Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing needs and demands
Be an effective leader that can motivate and and work as a team
Understand the needs of the staff and managers and liaise effectively between all departments
Be a confident speaker and communicator for staff training opportunities
Be confident during Ofsted inspections
Be flexible in covering rooms to ensure we adhere to legal ratios
Experienced with child and staff observations

We are modern style nursery and with lots of natural light and wooden resources, plus lots of plants! We have our own private and secure garden for the children to enjoy outdoor play whenever they choose.
We are a small setting which has a family feel. Our under 2 classes only have a maximum of 6 children in each class so they get a better quality of care. Every child we care for deserves a calm, nurturing, safe and stimulating environment in which to play, learn and be curious.
