**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team in a nurturing childcare environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our nursery, ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere for children. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both children and staff.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential, with a focus on managing or leading teams being highly advantageous.
- A background working with children in a nursery or similar setting is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development is crucial.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the management of daily nursery activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the Lead Practitioner in planning and implementing educational programs that cater to the developmental needs of children.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, promoting teamwork and collaboration within the nursery.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided within the nursery setting.
