We are looking for a qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and dedicated team. The successful candidate will work in any of our four rooms, supporting children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as a key person to a group of children, ensuring their individual developmental needs are met.

Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities based on children's interests and EYFS learning goals.

Observe, assess, and record children’s progress through regular observations and maintain up-to-date learning journals.

Build positive relationships with parents/carers, sharing information and encouraging their involvement in their child's development.

Set up and tidy away indoor and outdoor learning environments daily, maintaining a clean, safe, and stimulating space.

Take care of nursery resources, ensuring they are used effectively and stored appropriately.

Participate in parents’ evenings, providing verbal and written feedback on children's progress.

Write progress reports for your key children in accordance with nursery policies and EYFS requirements.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are consistently delivered.

Requirements:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent).

Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.

A sound understanding of the EYFS framework.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A positive, caring, and patient approach.

Ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Willingness to undertake further training as required.
