Job Requirements / Description

We are looking for a kind, caring, practitioner to join our team here at Casa Tierra Billingual Nursery.

We look after pre-school children ranging from 10 months to 4 years old in a beautiful large house in leafy East Dulwich. We are open 8-6 Mon-Fri but offer flexible shifts within this. We are a bilingual Spanish setting with approximately half the staff being Spanish speakers and diversity is a core value so we have several male staff for example, which is unusual in early years. We are heavily influenced by The Curiosity Approach and all staff are provided with specific training on this.

We are a home-from-home setting so take a maximum of 24 children a day. Our Casa has a calm, fun and playful family feel that's very different from super-hectic nurseries. It is on a quiet street and is surrounded by green spaces. Staff are encouraged to get involved in developing creative activities with our child-led curriculum and unnecessary paperwork is kept to a minimum as staff well-being is a huge priority. We offer lots of training and apprenticeship options for staff should they wish to study further. We have a long waiting list and excellent relationships with all our families and staff.
